meeting a friend
receiving a gift
hearing some news
or anything that needs time to come my way
It may make me feel
anxious
eager
or just plain impatient
Waiting does require time and time in itself is a gift
I can browse through some books in the bookstore while waiting for my friend at the mall
I can prepare a nice thank you note while I wait for a gift
I can move on to other matters while I wait for some news, a result of something maybe
Waiting, then, is also a gift in itself
And the best wait of all is NOW
Yes, NOW is the time to LIVE and to LOVE
For LIFE in itself is a series of WAITING
Waiting for HIM to come and to bring us HOME
