If you have nothing more to write about, DO something worth writing about
I think that's from George Bernard Shaw, I'm not sure, and I don't feel like googling at this time. Whoever said that, what's important to me is what is says. It's been quite a while since I last blogged, since March, about the tsunami in Japan. It's September already and since then I have been really struggling with my self-worth, what to write about, etc etc etc...
Wait, I don't think the drama in my life is worth the world's attention. Now that I seem to be ready to blog again, to start writing again, have I done anything worth writing about? Though there is a strong value to the quote above, there is another side to it and I would like to spin it:
If you have nothing more to write about and there is nothing to DO worth writing about, write about what was DONE FOR YOU.
There are A LOT of things done for me by all my family and friends and as I think about them, I am overwhelmed with joy. I would like to attempt to write about them one by one but I am running the risk of missing out one. Every person who has done for me is worth My Words for the World. THANK YOU if you are reading this at this point and I pray to God that He blesses you a thousandfold of what you have done for me.
Nevertheless, if there is anyone worth mentioning in this blog, it's that GUY whose day of birth into this world we are about to commemorate and celebrate in 3 months time. I just posted something about Him in my social networking accounts:
He took away the things making me bad and He suffered for it. In return to me He blessed me, taught me how to live properly and even healed me. I have not reached perfection yet but He assured me not to worry about it and to just trust in Him.
JESUS CHRIST!
Please do not get me wrong, I am not discounting what I need to do to have something worth writing about. I think I would like to start by emulating my sister Cordi. She is so regular with her blog posts and she has shared with me how she does it. Cordi, I will start taking after you. With that I hope I will overflow with My Words for the World starting now....
