Christmas in my Country

I like that this music video portrayed the unique festivities of Christmas in the Philippines.  That, as the title says it, it is the best place to celebrate the season in the world.  It is also relevant in the sense that a lot of our countrymen have to go elsewhere around the globe just to be able to provide a good life for themselves and their families.
This reminds me of the "Where will happiness strike next?" of Coke.  They have the same message about families being far from each other in this very important time of the year.  This is when we prepare our hearts for the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.  We are supposed to be with our loved ones to feel this immense love of God.  Then again, as reality is a mystery and we have to spend the holidays without our loved ones, let's love the ones we are with.  As the song goes, "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with".
I wish for every heart to feel the coming of our Lord this Christmas.... Happy Holidays!

Hi Pammy! Thanks for sharing this, I really miss home... it's been 11 years I didnt spend Christmas with my family kaya napaiyak ako especially dun sa Coca Cola ad... anyways, what really matters naman talaga is the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ... it's just that though dapat sanay na ko to welcome Him every Christmas without my family with me... it's really hard to be away from them and to miss all the festivities. Emo ba? O sya, Merry Christmas na lang... from me to my family... and from my family to yours...

Regards,
Susan

Awww, I feel for you Susan... It's OK. Wherever it is you spend the holidays, just look around you and you may find Jesus there, although it's really different if it's with your loved ones. Anyway, you are where you're supposed to be and God loves you and He wants you to feel it. Merry Christmas! Malay mo, happiness will strike there naman! :)
